One-to-one math tutoring · With Matt
Math tutoring for Roslyn students.
I've tutored Roslyn students for 13 years, from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus.
I help students with their current classwork and preparation for tests. Some need weekly lessons; others want help with a particular topic.
A message is ready. You don't need to fill anything out first.
Lessons are online. Call (516) 578-9290 to talk through how they work. If I miss your call, please leave a voicemail so I can call you back.

Hi Matt! I'm looking for Roslyn math tutoring for my student. Can we discuss lessons and availability?
If your messaging app doesn't open, copy the message and text it to (516) 578-9290.
Working with the class
I attended Roslyn schools myself, and I've spent years tutoring students in the district. I've worked with students taught by the teachers listed here. That experience helps me understand their coursework, test formats, and expectations for showing work.
We start with your student's current notes, assignments, and review materials. I explain the parts that aren't clear, check earlier skills when needed, and give the student time to work through problems independently.
What a lesson looks like
I teach the lessons myself. We meet online and work through problems together on screen, using the material your student is covering in school.
We can meet weekly or focus on a particular topic or upcoming test. We'll discuss what would help and my availability.
Courses
Choose the full course name when you have it. Research Honors may appear as RSH. For AP Calculus, check whether the schedule says AB or BC.

Before we talk
What if I don't know the course or teacher?
That's fine. Text me directly or leave the selections as “Not sure yet.” We can confirm the class from your student's schedule or current work.
Can we arrange weekly tutoring?
Yes. Choose “Weekly tutoring” or mention it in your text. We'll discuss a regular time and what your student is working on, subject to my availability.
Can we ask about an upcoming test?
Yes. Include the topic and test date if you have them. I'll let you know my availability, and we'll discuss what to focus on.
